Nursery Rhymes

Presented to Miss Amy's Head Start class at Golden Hills Elementary School on Monday, March 18, 2013.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider

The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.



Baa, Baa, Black Sheep

Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full.

One for my master and one for my dame.
One for the little boy who lives down the lane.

Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full.




Ring Around the Rosy

Ring around the rosy,
A pocket full of posies.
Ashes, ashes,
We all fall down!



There's a Wide-Eyed Owl

There's a wide-eyed owl,
(Use hands to make circles around eyes)
With a pointed nose,
(bring pointer fingers together in front of your nose to form a beak)
He has pointed ears,
(one finger at each temple to form ears)
And claws for toes.
(form hands into claws)
He sits in a tree,
And looks at you,
(Use hands to make circles around eyes)
Then flaps his wings and says,
(put hands under shoulders and flap arms)
"Whooo!  Whooo!  Whooo!"




Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey.
Along came a spider who sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Muffet away!



Here is the Beehive

Here is the beehive,
But where are the bees?
Hidden inside where nobody sees...














Watch and you'll see them
Come out of the hive...





















1,2,3,4,5! Bzzzzzzzzz!























It was a pleasure visiting the wonderful students and teachers at Head Start today! I hope you enjoyed my Nursery Rhyme storytime!  Wesley and I look forward to visiting again next month! (Monday, April 29)
