Seussathon 2013: "Different-er Than the Rest!"

The Bellevue Public Library celebrated its 10th Annual Seussathon on Saturday, March 2, 2013.  March 2nd (Read Across America Day) marks the birthday of Theodore Seuss Geisel, known to millions of readers as Dr. Seuss.  Click here to learn more about the history of this event which was conceived and first presented at the Bellevue Public Library in 2004

The library receives wonderful support from local businesses in presenting programs and special events such as Seussathon.  This year our sponsors included Ace Rent-to-Own, Apples and More: A Learning Store,  Baker's Supermarket, The Cake Specialist, Chick-fil-A, Domino's Pizza, Drizzles, Mangelsen's, Pizza Hut, Shopko, and Village Inn.  Please join us in thanking these sponsors who helped provide everything from furniture to food and drinks to door prizes!

During the course of 8 hours the library played host to a record 303 people of all ages who stopped by to help us celebrate!  Below are photos from this year's event.
