If You're Ready For a Story
(tune: "If You're Happy and You Know It")
If you're ready for a story, take a seat.
If you're ready for a story, take a seat.
Clap your hands and stomp your feet,
Make your hands all nice and neat.
If you're ready for a story, take a seat.

(Those who wanted to could have their placemat laminated after Storytime.)
I think the children and adults had fun playing with our various activities today. The projects gave parents lots of opportunities to converse with their child. I heard multiple conversations between children and adults about turkeys, food, and what things they are thankful for.
I wish all our library patrons (and especially our Storytime families) a wonderful Thanksgiving!
